For a long time, I was angry at the Proverbs 31 Woman – at least the presentation of her.
I refused to subscribe to such an overused, idolized, measuring stick of perfection. Until…I met her virtues through God’s embrace to look within.
Her pursuits. Her ambitions. Her financial diligence. Her womanhood. Her wisdom and mentorship. Her strength and dignity. Her faith and quiet confidence. Her impact. Her virtuous femininity. And for the first time, I saw myself. My virtues. My kingdom authority.
This divine encounter was the inner work I needed to champion the wisdom and integrity of such a timeless and virtuous femininity, an elegant softness laced with strength and successful ambitions, poise, and grace.
I created Profits & Poise as a personal invitation for women to embrace virtuous femininity, and to do so, holistically. In our faith. Our finances. With our families. With how we serve others through our personal and business brands.

As an accountant, you would think that my fascination with debits, credits, and account balances would provide me with the expertise to be my own personal finance superstar – and it does, but as GOD’S BABY GIRL living by His goodness and a whole lot of His grace, there is a greater calling in managing money that goes beyond pluses and minuses.
For me, that meant going back to who I am and whose I am and developing a Godly relationship with money moving me beyond the numbers into divine surrender and stewardship. This was the introductory scene of my personal brand story. It transformed my money anxieties into renewed hope, wisdom, and strategic decisions positioned for financial well-being and financial confidence. It has been a thrill of a ride. (Yes! Fixing my finances is super exciting).
